This scenic setting features a dramatic sky, flowing marsh grasses, and a winding boardwalk, brought to life with enhanced colours to create a lively and expressive mood.
Join local artist Diane Dowsett for a fun, informative 3-hour acrylic painting workshop, where you’ll be guided from a blank canvas to a finished painting in a relaxed and supportive environment. Along the way, you’ll learn not only what to do, but also what to avoid, giving you practical skills you can use in your own artwork moving forward.
What participants can expect:
* A 3-hour workshop with full instruction, individual feedback, and all materials provided
* Step-by-step guidance to paint realistic clouds and sky, marsh grasses, and a winding boardwalk using acrylic paint on a 12” x 16” canvas *Instruction on colour blending and application, creating depth and distance, and using a variety of brushstrokes and tools to achieve both detailed and expressive effects
* A take-home list of tips and techniques to help you continue painting at home
