Pillow is a Brighton Based modern classical outfit performing the dark and cinematic compositions of composer and multi instrumentalist James Osler.
The music captures the richness of a classical tone, whilst embracing the freedom of improvisation and storytelling of haunting folk-like melodies.
Sighting influence from artists such as Jonny Greenwood, Max Richter and Harold Budd to name a few, Pillow embarks on telling their own story of how sounds can emerge and give meaning to life’s experiences.
This evening will be a rare opportunity to see them performing live as a full band and will be in celebration of the release of their debut album 'A Beginning and an End'. Expect to hear a blend of epic live strings, piano, guitar, synth and field recordings of a passing thunderstorm.
Ceann Capaill is a shape-shifting music project led by Irish multi-instrumentalist Declan Haughian.
