Spanish Horses Spanish Horses are a five-piece underground rock ’n’ roll band formed in Paris and based in London. Drawing inspiration from The Velvet Underground, alongside the angular post-punk of The Fall, the melodic charm of The Pastels and the brooding atmospheres of Joy Division, their music weaves together lush melodies, sharp rhythms and layered textures. Following a high-profile tour supporting Public Image Ltd. and a standout appearance at Tramlines Festival, the band has spent the past year solidifying their reputation as a must-see live act. While the band have been around since 2022, the addition of drumming and vocal powerhouse Sophie Moloney in early 2024 - joining singer-guitarists Lola Gordon and Tom Cotter, and bassist Henry Brown - has propelled them to new heights, elevating both their songwriting and live performances.
