🐱 Ready to take the tom out of your tomcat?! 🐱
Bring your intact male cat (owned, outdoor, or feral) for our first EponaVet Feline Fix Clinic Saturday, November 22nd! You must signup first as we have a limited number of spots. Walk-ins are not allowed.
Please arrive at Rowens Kennels (2400 Owens Ln, Brighton, IL) between 7:30–8:00 AM for check-in. The cats need to arrive one cat per carrier or trap, as each will recover in their own space after surgery.
Cats will go home in the afternoon—please plan for pickup between 1:00–2:00 PM. There is no overnight care, so all cats must be picked up by 2 PM at the latest.
All cats will be scanned for microchips prior to surgery. If a chip is found, the owner listed on the chip must approve surgery if it differs from the person bringing the cat.
🐱 Eligibility:
• Cats must weigh at least 4 lbs
• Cats must be healthy and well-hydrated to safely undergo surgery
• Special cases may be accepted if pre-approved
🐱 Included in Procedure:
• Neuter surgery with injectable anesthesia
• NSAID injection for pain relief
• Ear tipping for feral cats (performed safely under anesthesia to help prevent repeat surgeries)
🐱 Pricing:
• Standard Neuter Rate: $55 per tomcat
• Community Cat Neuter Rate: $45 per tomcat for caretakers bringing 3+ feral males.
🐱 Optional Add-Ons (available at check in, additional cost):
• Vaccines: Rabies, FVRCP, Feline leukemia (FeLV)
• FIV/FeLV test
• Microchip
• Parasite prevention: flea/tick + heartworm (Revolution Plus), tapeworm dewormer

🐱 We plan to include female spays at future Feline Fix Clinics, but this first event will focus on tomcats only!
