Bringing a Big Band to a Small Stage!
In another first for Brighthelm Swing, we're delighted to welcome the renowned 18-piece Les Paul Big Band this month.  

Les, who was a chartered consulting engineer by profession, started a band about 25 years ago as a quartet with some other co-engineers in his office. This soon expanded to a sextet, then an octet and before long, the full big band format, with 5 saxes, 4 trumpets, 4 trombones and a 4 piece rhythm section.  Singer Pam Dabell completes the line up with her smooth yet powerful vocals.

Hot drinks, cakes and fruit are available and you are welcome to bring your own refreshments.

Entry from 2.55pm to allow for set up and sound checks.
