After a string of incredible sold out shows, The Exploding Typewriter has settled in to its home at the wonderful Folklore Rooms. A beautiful , intimate club in the heart of Brighton.

In 2021, Niall published his first volume of poetry - ‘ This moment hangs in stolen air’
He went on to win awards , and be featured on radio, as well as securing a studio in the Artists Quarter, ( Poet Gallery ) on Brighton seafront, where he writes, creates, and sells prints of his work as well as performing and running workshops.
Visit him there on weekends , to talk poetry and art , and see his work.
In 2023 he started - ‘The Exploding Typewriter’
He has performed at The Brighton fringe, Soho House, Charity events and Festivals

Andrew Stuart-Buttle
The Brighton-based Violinist and Multi-instrumentalist has been a part of the local arts scene for over a decade. Andrew’s adaptability and love for collaboration has led to him working with musicians, film makers, spoken-word artists and theatre directors as a performer, composer, improviser, producer, and sound designer. Andrew has also performed, recorded, and toured as a session musician with artists including Lucy Rose, The Staves, Samantha Crain everywhere from the USA to India. He has a unique approach to his instrument and a passion for improvisation using unorthodox techniques and effects pedals to create swirling, percussive and atmospheric textures.
