No pressure. Just activities to relax you and inspire you to speak!What to expectEvery session is different - sensory, playful, and grounding. Expect to use your whole self, not just new words. Expect to leave knowing people's names and stories. Expect to feel something shift.We use nature as our classroom and our common language. The rest is a surprise...Our maximum group size is 12 people, to allow for real connection and meaningful language exchange.This is a pilot series - 6 sessions running fortnightly through summer and into autumn. Tickets are priced at an introductory rate for our founding community. Come be part of something from the very beginning! It would be amazing if you can come to all sessions in the series but it is not compulsory.Who is this for?English speakers (learning or improving Spanish)Native Spanish speakers (learning or improving English)People new to BrightonNature loversAnyone craving real connectionYou don't need to be fluent in English or Spanish. Languages have taken me everywhere from university studying German, Spanish and Portuguese, to teaching across Valencia, Berlin, Rio de Janeiro, Medellín and London over the past decade. I trained as a teacher at UCL, specialising in Spanish and the power of music in language learning.Since 2020 I've been building Roots Up, a community rooted in bringing people together through language. I'm now based in Brighton and training as a Level 3 Forest School leader, and excited to bring language learning outdoors.
