The mask didn’t create your confidence.It gave you permission to reveal what was already within you.WHAT TO EXPECTThe evening begins with an immersive Salsa & Flow™ workshop exploring:• Confidence and authentic self-expression• Partner connection• Musicality and playfulness• Giving and receiving clear invitations• Moving beyond self-consciousness• Feeling the dance instead of performing it• Letting yourself be seen before you feel “good enough”This isn’t about learning the most complicated salsa combination.It’s about getting out of your head, reconnecting with your body and discovering how freely you can move when you stop worrying about getting everything right.You don’t need to become a different person to feel confident on the dance floor.You may simply need a space where you feel safe enough to let that part of you come forward.TWO WORKSHOP LEVELSGuests will be divided into two groups:NEW TO SALSAFor those at the start of their salsa journey. You’ll explore accessible salsa foundations while developing your confidence, partner connection and freedom of movement. No previous dance experience is needed.ACQUAINTED WITH SALSAFor those already acquainted with the foundations of Cuban salsa and comfortable dancing with a partner.You’ll explore more adventurous Halloween-themed rueda moves alongside musicality, partner connection, playfulness and self-expression.Expect tricks, turns and a few surprises as partners rotate around the circle.Both groups will come together for the opening experience and The Unmasking.THE UNMASKINGDuring the workshop, we’ll use masks and character to explore the version of ourselves we don’t always feel confident enough to reveal.Perhaps your character is bold.Playful.Powerful.Sensual.Mysterious.Completely unapologetic.The mask becomes an invitation to experiment with how that version of you walks into a room, takes up space, connects with another person and moves to the music.The workshop will culminate in The Unmasking: a guided collective moment where we remove our masks and bring that same confidence, freedom and expression into the dance as ourselves.The person behind the mask was you all along.Afterwards, the floor will open for our Halloween Masquerade Salsa Social.THE FLOW7:00–7:30 PMMASQUERADE ARRIVALArrive, explore Fabrica and choose an intention for the evening.The experience begins from the moment you arrive, with out masquerade mission.Receive your secret identity, step into character, complete your mission and find the other members of your masquerade house.7:30–9:00 PMSALSA & LIBERATION EXPERIENCEAn immersive Salsa & Flow™ workshop incorporating grounding, solo movement, partner connection, self-expression and The Unmasking.Choose between our beginner and intermediate salsa experiences.9:00 PMARRIVAL OF SOCIAL-ONLY GUESTSThe workshop concludes and the doors open for social-only ticket holders.9:00–11:00 PMTHE HALLOWEEN MASQUERADE SOCIALOpen social dancing inside Fabrica, with animations, rueda, a special performance and plenty of opportunities to put your newfound freedom into practice.WHO IS IT FOR?This evening is for you if:• You wish you could dance more freely in public• You feel self-conscious when people watch you move• You want to express yourself without relying on alcohol for confidence• You’ve always wanted to try salsa but haven’t felt brave enough• You know the steps but still struggle to relax and enjoy the dance• You want to become a more connected, present and expressive partner• You’re ready to step away from the sidelines and onto the dance floorComplete beginners, experienced dancers and everyone in between are welcome.You do not need to bring a partner.
