Some of the Chilean ladies sang along in Spanish, but even without joining in I felt part of it. Folk has a way of drawing you into the journey, making it a shared experience rather than something you just watch. The joy in the room was unmistakable as people got up to dance.The simplicity of folk is one of its greatest strengths. You do not need much more than a guitar and a good story.
