Exciting news! I am launching a new strength and mobility class on a Monday evening for the whole LGBTQIA+ community. This is your space to move, exercise and connect to yourself and others.

Key information
Day and Time: Monday 7pm-8pm
Arrival: Please aim to arrive 10 minutes before the class starts
Capacity: Up to 16 people
Timings: 5 - 10 mins welcome and warm up, 30 mins workout, 5 - 10 mins stretching and cool down.

What to expect:
This is a structured strength and mobility class to boost your mood, get strong and bendy and help you to explore exercise and movement safely and joyfully. I incorporate mindfulness into my coaching so you can develop self compassion, body awareness and pacing, to manage your energy.

Class Structure:

• You will perform 8 exercises around the room.
• Warm up and cool down are the same each week for predictability and familiarity.
• Each station is clearly numbered and labelled.
• All exercises will be demonstrated and can be adapted to suit varying fitness levels and physical requirements.
• Explore movement patterns to build strength and improve mobility while integrating mindfulness to help you connect with your body, feel good, and have fun.

Accessibility and Health:
I strive to make all movement as accessible as possible. If you have specific accessibility needs or accommodations you require (whether physical or neurological), please email aW5mbyB8IGJyaW5ueWRvZXMgISBjb20= at least 1 week before the class so I can best support you. Please also get in touch beforehand to inform of any injuries you have.

About Brinny's approach:
As a neurodivergent and non-binary individual, my mission is to help the queer community find joy and build confidence through movement and exercise. All of my classes prioritise wellbeing, ensuring a safe, judgment-free, and affirming environment where everyone feels seen and valued.

What to Wear and Bring:

• Make sure you wear what you feel comfortable to move in and some shoes that support your feet.
• You can get changed on site if you arrive a little beforehand.
• Please bring a bottle of water if possible and whatever else you feel you need.
• Bring earplugs and/or appropriate eye-wear if you are sensitive to sound and light. The lights are kept as low as possible, and there will be loud music playing.

Additional Venue Information:

• The event will take place in the main gym at FMG.
• There is a flight of stairs as you enter the building, with a wheelchair platform lift.
• There is a gender-neutral accessible toilet on site as well as gender-neutral facilities.
• Age requirement 17+.

Cancelation Policy:

If you can't attend, please make sure you cancel 48 hours before to receive a full refund. After this time, the ticket can be paid forward to another person.

Brinny Does Loyalty Cards

To thank people for coming to my classes I’m introducing a loyalty card system.

How it works:

If you attend 9 classes, you get your 10th free!
You can get your loyalty card once you’ve come to your first class with Brinny. Ask them for one when you attend, or collect one from FMG.
Loyalty Card T&Cs:Once you have come to 9 classes and received 9 stamps, you are entitled to 1 free class of your choice. To claim your free, class attend 9 classes and receive 9 stamps. Ensure the 10th spot is signed by Brinny to validate your free space. Then email to request which class you want to attend with the date clearly stated. You must apply for the class 1 week in advance. Please note: only 1 free space is available per class. If someone else has claimed the free space, I will inform you of the next available date. Brinny Does classes offer sliding scale prices because they believe everyone in the LGBTQIA+ community should have access to movement.

Please review the ticket types below and at checkout to choose the rate that feels most appropriate for your current financial situation. Your honesty helps to maintain accessibility for all. This class is exclusively for individuals who identify within the LGBTQIA+ community.

At checkout you will also see the chance to donate to Pay it Forward tickets. This enables those unable to pay full price attend classes and access this vital resource.

Ticket Type Guide:

Ticket Type 1: Trans+ Free Spot

Price: FREE

This spot is reserved specifically for trans+ community members.

Ticket Type 2: Community Supported Rate

Price: £7.50

This rate is for those who are experiencing financial hardship, have limited disposable income, or are facing systemic barriers to financial stability. Choosing this rate ensures you can still participate at half the price of the average fitness class.

Ticket Type 3: Standard Rate

Price: £10.00

This rate covers the basic costs of running the class. If you are able to comfortably meet your basic needs, this is the suggested rate for you.

Ticket Type 4: Community Solidarity Rate

Price: £12.50-£15

If you have more financial freedom or privilege within our community, choosing this rate allows you to "pay it forward." Your additional contribution directly supports the free spots for trans+ people and helps Brinny continue to offer accessible pricing for all LGBTQIA+ individuals who need it.
