On Friday, 14th November 2025, participants will sleep out in St Peter's Square at St Peter’s Church, symbolising solidarity with over 1,000 individuals in our city experiencing housing insecurity or rough sleeping.  This event is not an attempt to replicate the reality of homelessness, which is a complex and traumatic experience, but rather an opportunity to foster understanding, humanise those impacted by poverty, and amplify the urgent need for sustainable solutions. We deeply respect those who have lived through the challenges of rough sleeping, and we acknowledge that one night in a cardboard shelter does not compare.
