Together we will:Explore the colour wheel and practise colour mixing through practical exercises.Develop your observational skills through still-life studies, experimenting with light, texture and composition.Gain confidence handling oils on canvas, learning how to use brushes, mediums and layering to achieve different effects.All materials are provided (canvas, paints, brushes, mediums and rags), as well as drinks and light refreshments, so you can focus entirely on painting. The course takes place at Brighton Art Space on Regency Street, a welcoming studio where creativity naturally flourishes.About the TutorI am an artist and educator who studied Fine Arts and Art Education in Italy, completing a Bachelor’s degree in Painting with a specialisation in oil painting and a Master’s degree in Art Education. Over the past six years, I have designed and delivered a wide range of art workshops, wellbeing sessions, and heritage-related projects, with a particular focus on using creativity as a tool for connection and self-expression.In my teaching, I combine my professional expertise with a gentle and inclusive approach, encouraging participants to progress at their own pace.
