DesignHer Networking: Creating Change

DesignHer is a unique peer-powered network to support people from underrepresented backgrounds to access opportunities within the creative industries. The network was founded by Buttercrumble, a female-led design studio, who are reimagining traditional business networks by placing belonging and lived experience at its core.

The network welcomes West Yorkshire women (inclusive of trans and non-binary people) who face barriers due to class, race, disability, gender identity or caring responsibilities, to join a series of get-togethers. The sessions combine guest mentoring and peer-to-peer exchange. Plus – between events – members can access an online hub of resources to stay connected and inspired.

DesignHer is currently touring West Yorkshire with events hosted in accessible and welcoming spaces across the region.

The venue is well connected to a number of public transport links including bus and train.

If travelling by car, there is limited car parking at the venue and on-street. There is also a car park at Mill Ln, Brighouse HD6 1PN.
