About the event

May Day Forage, Fermentation & Feast Workshop
Join us for this special full-day creative workshop on the 1st May, 2026.

We will be exploring the joys of hedgerow foraging and gourmet spring greens, then rolling up our sleeves to create seasonal ferments, preserves, and more.

You’ll also enjoy a wild-inspired gourmet lunch in our secret rural location, tucked away in a peaceful corner of North Lincolnshire.

We’ll begin the day with introductions and refreshments before setting out on a gentle guided walk to discover and identify local wild edibles. Back in our cosy rural kitchen, you’ll get hands-on experience learning how to ferment and preserve delicious and nourishing creations, learning through both demonstration and practice.

With small group numbers, there’s plenty of time for personal guidance, ensuring you leave feeling confident, inspired, and full of new ideas.
You’ll be in expert hands throughout the day. We are professional foragers, an experienced chef, and a complementary therapist—both members of the Association of Foragers.

We will pause for a relaxed, gourmet lunch, celebrating the best of fresh, local, and foraged ingredients—accompanied by a selection of seasonal concoctions to delight your senses.

By the end of the day, you’ll take home a basket of delicious and healing creations, to satisfy your gut biome and stock up your larder!

We have created this workshop to celebrate May Day and the incredible abundance of natures spring larder.
Your day will be informative, fascinating, and full of fun.

We can’t wait to share our passion for wild food and heartfelt connection… so bring your apron and foraging basket and we will do the rest!
We promise that no one ever goes home hungry!
