# Event Details - **Event Name**: Earth my Earth FREE COMMUNITY EVENT - **Event Start and End Date**: Sun, 13 Sep, 2026 at 10:00 am – Sun, 13 Sep, 2026 at 05:00 pm (+01:00) - **Event Description**: This September, West Bay becomes a stage for a performative art, exchange with our community. Earth My Earth arrives in town on Saturday 12 from 3pm to 6pm for attending the repair cafe, and collecting the clothes for the clothes swap. Sunday 13 September, free to attend from 10am, brought to Dorset through a collaboration between Fingerprint Dance and Greek non-profit Kynourio Soma, working alongside a wide network of local dance, environmental, fashion and care organisations. Across the weekend, the project unfolds along West Bay, Bridport’s seafront — from Salt House and gardens to West Bays Pier & East Beach area — as public space becomes a museum, a stage and a place for gathering and exchanging clothes. The programme includes the collective creation of an installation, interactive performances, experiential workshops and community participation, closing with a shared feast that brings everyone together. Earth My Earth began its journey in Arcadia, Peloponnese, Greece, home to Kynourio Soma. For its Bridport edition, the project turns to a theme close to home: textile waste. Through creative practice, it explores our relationship with clothes, materials, consumption, memory and reuse, asking questions about how we value the things we already have. Mainly funded by National Lottery Funding in association with Fingerprint Dance.
