QUIZ AND EAT: A Taste of Millau in Bridlington! 🇫🇷🇬🇧
An evening of mild intellectual stimulation, exceptional food, and excellent company.
Please join the Bridlington/Millau Twinning Association's next main event.
When: Thursday 26th March at 7:00 pm
Where: Emmanuel Church Rooms, Bridlington
The Quiz 🧠 You do not need to be a hardened quizzer to take part. The evening is designed with absolutely everyone in mind. Alongside the traditional formats, there is a “Taste and Smell" round, a “Colour of Music" challenge, and a “Where in the World?" section.
Come as a group or join others to arrange teams (a maximum of six) on the night. To the victorious teams, there will, of course, be prizes!
The Food 🍽️ For the rather modest sum of £10 per person, you will enjoy both the quiz and a superb supper.
Choose your preferred main from the two below:
* Aligot Saucisses with Caramelised Onion and Red Wine Gravy: Our Chairman, Chris, has been diligently perfecting his Aligot, combining silky mashed Maris Piper potatoes with a mix of tangy Cheshire cheese, mozzarella, cream, and roast garlic. Paired with delicious Toulouse sausages, it is a genuine taste of the Aveyron.
* Leek and Wild Garlic Quiche with Green Salad: As it is currently wild garlic season, the mild, peppery flavour of the leaves complements the leeks and Gruyère of the quiche beautifully.
A small sweet treat will follow to conclude the culinary proceedings.
The Drinks: BYO! 🍷 Please bring your own drinks and glasses. We encourage you to bring whatever vintage fortifies you for the quiz!
