All you need to do is book in on this free walking session.This is a varied, level walk which will follow the towpath to Standards Lock. Depending on the weather and conditions underfoot, we will return to the car park via the Somerset Levels and Northmoor Corner. If that is not possible, we will return along the towpath. Walk participants should meet at the car park by Maunsel Tearooms, Banklands Lane, North Newton, Bridgwater, TA7 0DH. The What3Words location reference is: movies.summit.roamingThe walk will start at 10am and is approximately 3.5 miles long. We expect to return to the car park by approximately 12:30pm.There are toilet facilities & refreshments at the tearooms.Unfortunately this route is not suitable for wheelchair users.Book nowPlease book one time slot per person. Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before your booked slot. These sessions are designed for adults and for children from seven years old upwards as an introduction to walking and are easy grade along our amazing towpaths. Learn a bit of history or see some awesome wildlife which is around every turn on our waterways .Parents and Guardians are required to accompany their children on this walk.If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket via Eventbrite. This event is free for all participants who attend on the day. However, if you have booked on, subsequently fail to cancel and simply don’t show up on the day, you are liable to be invoiced for the standard £20.00 administration fee, chargeable for each ticket booked.Therefore, if your circumstances do suddenly change and you find you are no longer able to attend, please cancel via the Eventbrite ticket booking system using the link that you can find on your ticket.
