Community Hog Harvest

This is a hands-on, educational day on the farm focused on transparency, respect for animals, and understanding where our food comes from.

Participants will take part in the harvest and processing of a hog for their own use, guided step-by-step in a calm, supportive environment. This is a working farm day intended for those who want to learn the full process — from humane harvest to taking pork home.

This event is not a demonstration or observation-only experience. Attendees should be comfortable with the realities of meat processing and prepared to actively participate.
