FAQ: What is a vegan festival? Is it all food?
ANSWER:
Vegan means no eating, wearing, experimenting on or using animals for cruel entertainment.
Some vegan festivals are food festivals, while others involve the whole lifestyle of shopping and living compassionately.
This particular mini fest is a vegan & magickal lifestyle festival, rather than a food festival; although, we will have a few truly great local food/juice and coffee trucks (and a few dessert booths from Pgh. & Ohio). So, do arrive ready to eat, and check out the trucks before going inside to the 2nd floor/Sterling Yoga, where you’ll find the salt cave and more shopping.
We at Pittsburgh Vegan Expo/The ORIGINAL Pittsburgh Vegan Festival, have 8-12 events every month, all over Pgh. & beyond.
Our events vary - from food festivals, to lifestyle festivals, entertainment-based events, arts fairs, magickal events, healing arts and wellness events, and much more. We have small events, mini fests and big festivals.
May 31 is a mini fest at a small venue; as opposed to our large venue/full-sized festivals; so, please carpool, to help with parking ability.
