Charter Homes & Neighborhoods invites you to kick off the holiday season with the “Home for the Holidays” event at the Hastings Green and Crossroads on Dec. 6 from 3-7 PM.
This festive celebration will feature a variety of free activities, including horse-drawn carriage rides, DIY kids’ holiday crafts, a letter-writing station for Santa, gourmet hot chocolate, holiday music and light show, and opportunities for family and pet photos with Santa.
Santa pictures start at 6 PM after the lighting of the neighborhood holiday tree.

Then, enjoy the rest of your evening at Crossroads with dinner, drinks and shopping from our local businesses, and meet up with your neighbors around a festive fire pit.
Events and Activities
✨ Elf Workshop: Kids can make holiday crafts for themselves or to give as gifts. Craft stations will be set up throughout the Green, with staff available to provide assistance.
✨ Santa Letter-Writing Station: Cards and crayons will be available for children to create their holiday wish lists and mail directly to Santa.
✨ Horse-drawn Carriage Ride: Enjoy a free horse-drawn carriage ride, courtesy of Charter Homes. Carriage rides will run from 3-7 PM, with sign-ups available on site on Saturday. Sign up early as limited space is available.
✨ Browse the Holiday Market: Support local makers, home-based, and small businesses and find special gifts in the Hastings Holiday Market.
✨ Complimentary Gourmet Hot Chocolate: OTB will be serving complimentary gourmet hot chocolate at the Home Store, sponsored by Charter Homes.
✨ Holiday Lights and Music: Throughout Crossroads, guests can enjoy a holiday light and music show.
🎅 Photos with Santa: After Santa arrives and lights the tree at 6 PM, he will be available for photos with families – so be sure to bring your camera along to capture the special moments!
