Trail Mixers: Deep conversations and Forest Bathing

Join us for a contemplative walk in nature where we’ll open our senses to the beauty of the earth and to one another. Along the trail, we will pause to notice the small wonders around us—birdsong, tree roots, the feel of the breeze—and carry with us guiding questions for conversation and reflection. This is not a fast-paced hike, but a slow and mindful journey together. We’ll walk, pause, wonder, and share. All ages are welcome; bring comfortable shoes, water, and an open heart.

David Sarnoff Preserve, Riverhead, NY. west side of Route 104 (Riverleigh Ave) midway between the Riverhead Traffic Circle and Rt 105. (just south of Riverwoods Mobile Home Community). Enter the small parking area at the Sarnoff Preserve Sign. Set GPS to 40.905807°N, 72.655193°W

October 4: Sagg Swamp Preserve, Bridgehampton (Stuart Lowrie)
depart from the Sag Swamp Preserve Parking Lot located on the north side of Sagaponack Road, about 750 ft west of the small bridge over Sag Pond. Look for the Sag Swamp Preserve sign of The Nature Conservancy at the parking area.
