Note: only currently certified chainsaw sawyers will be permitted to operate a saw on Forest Service land. If you are interested in joining this trail party without a certification as a 'swamper', please let me know! Sawyers should plan to bring their own saw, fuel, and all necessary PPE. If you aren't able to please contact me ahead of the trail party.Hiking information:We will enter at Multnomah Falls, and hike up the loop to Wahkeena. This is a significant hike of over 4 miles with over 1200 feet in elevation gain. You should plan to participate in this trail party for its entirety. For safety reasons, please do not arrive late or expect to be able to leave early.What to bring:LunchPlenty of waterSnacksGloves if you have them (loaner gloves available)What to wear:Boots (Please wear something sturdy that will protect your toes from sharp tools.
