CLCL Foundation proudly announces the official Grand Opening of Community Threads, a new community-centered resource designed to support youth, families, and neighbors across Ocean and Monmouth County. The celebrations will take place at 270 Chambers Bridge Road, Unit 11, Brick, NJ 08723, marking a major milestone for CLCL’s Community Cares Pilot Program.
The Grand Opening Celebration will take place on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and invites the public to tour the store, meet the team, and learn more about the Community Threads program and CLCL's broader mission.
Community Threads was created to provide families and individuals in need with access to gently used clothing, linens, accessories, children's items, cleaning and hygiene products, within an environment that prioritizes respect, choice, and belonging. As part of the CLCL Foundation’s broader commitment to strengthening community care, the store will serve as a hub for connection, volunteerism, and meaningful engagement.
“Community Threads represents what is possible when compassion, collaboration, and community come together,” said representatives from the CLCL Foundation. “This space was built with intention—every detail reflects our belief that dignity is a basic need, and that families deserve access to resources without stigma or barriers.”
The launch of Community Threads has been made possible through the generosity of local partners, donors, and volunteers who contributed materials, expertise, and countless hours of support. CLCL Foundation extends special appreciation to all who helped bring this vision to life — especially the Brick Township Council, whose support and approval of a civic building lease made the Community Threads Store possible. Their partnership reflects a shared commitment to strengthening community care and expanding access to essential resources for families across Brick and the surrounding region.
Members of the press, community organizations, and the public are warmly invited to attend.
