This Archery RSO training will approve instructors to run archery programming as an approved RSO. We'll cover safety and risk management, shooting range requirements, basic shooting skills and how to run an archery event, workshop, or class, use of bows and crossbows, state equipment, and more.Participants will leave the workshop with a better understanding of Maine's shooting sports program and how it relates to archery hunting, as well as how to plan and schedule an event. This training is available to all current hunter education instructors (firearms/ bow/ crossbow) and we encourage those who are not already safety instructors to join us as their first step in becoming one.
