A sourdough class for beginners offered by your local Extension Agent.

This 2 hour classes offers hands on learning! Participants will:

Learn to feed their own starter
Discover the science of bread using wild yeasts and lactic acid bacterium
Make a "discard" recipe.
Practice kneading with a classic sourdough recipe
Sample fresh out-of-the-oven bread
