With a passion for locally grown, innovative dishes pulling from cuisines all over the globe. She has dedicated her career to the Culinary World working at several restaurants in the seacoast area & now owning her own establishment, Stalk restaurant, on Central Ave in Dover, NH.Born & raised in New England, Nicole developed a fascination for working in professional kitchens at a young age. This early curiosity led her to pursue her education in Culinary Arts, where she excelled quickly & took on running kitchens only at the age 23.Throughout her career, Nicole has demonstrated a commitment to quality of food & service, striving to maintain a high level of guest experience for the restaurants she managed. She believes in structure & balance of the menu & is passionate about serving all types of dietary guests. Kelly Merrill, joined forces with Nicole in January of 2024 & soon became Sous Chef of Stalk Restaurant shortly after.Kelly has a strong passion for baking & dessert creation, known for creative flavor concepts & beautiful cake design. Her mindset focuses on scratch-made pastries, plated desserts, & seasonal menu options, all while creating savory dishes with Chef Nicole. Kelly brings a collaborative mindset, strong time management, & a continuous drive to refine techniques & elevate the guest experience through thoughtful, well-executed menus.For both female chefs, the overall goal is to continuously push themselves as chefs to evolve around new flavors, cultures, & dish design.About the event:Limited seats are available to dine with the fungi and enjoy a meal in a functioning mushroom farm.There are 24 general admission seats available.We enjoy making our dinner events as interactive as possible. If you have questions about our mushroom products, mushroom farming, foraging, or mushrooms in general, Dunk will be there to chat with the room, and the Chef will be available as each course is served, to talk about the masterpiece.One of our mushroom coffee's will be served, prior to and throughout the dinner.IF YOU HAVE ANY DIETARY RESTRICTIONS, REACH OUT TO US WHEN PURCHASING TICKETS. We can accommodate GF, Vegan, Pescatarian etc.WE MAY BE UNABLE TO ACCOMMODATE ANY LAST MINUTE REQUESTS.This is a BYOB event.Doors open at 5:00.The Dunk's Mushroom store will be opened up after the dinner.
