Dive into the whimsical world of watercolor in this playful, beginner-friendly workshop! If you’ve been curious about watercolor but aren’t sure where to start, this class is the perfect introduction.
We’ll begin by exploring watercolor basics—talking about different types of paints, how to choose the right paper, and answering all those little questions you’ve been wondering about. Then we’ll roll up our sleeves and practice essential brushstrokes, from soft washes to bold dabs, learning techniques that bring texture, form, and dimension to life on paper.
Once you’ve got the basics down, it’s time for the fun part! You’ll create a finished watercolor painting featuring a watering can filled with fresh blooms. Whether your style is soft and delicate or bold and expressive, this class encourages creativity and personal flair.
