In the 23rd century, New York City cab driver and former special forces agent Korben Dallas (Bruce Willis) becomes tasked with saving humanity from an approaching, all-consuming cosmic evil. He must protect Leeloo (Milla Jovovich), a genetically engineered, supreme being, and collect four mystical stones representing the elements (earth, water, fire, air). Alongside Father Vito Cornelius and broadcaster Ruby Rhod, Dallas races against the corrupt industrialist Zorg (Gary Oldman) and his mercenary allies to stop the destruction of life.
