# Event Details - **Event Name**: KITSAP Lake Outing - **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 30 May, 2026 at 08:00 am – Sat, 30 May, 2026 at 02:00 pm (-07:00) - **Event Description**: Kayak Fishing Outing by HOW chapter Volunteers. Waivers mandatory. Volunteers to arrive at least (2) two-hours prior to event time to setup.About this EventA kayak, PFD, fishing gear, and fishing permit provided by Heroes on the Water Northwest Chapter. No experience necessary.Volunteers must arrive at least 2-hours prior to event time for setup. Teardown takes approximately 2-3 hours after lunch. Lunch served between 12:30 PM - 13:30 PM.Participants are asked to arrive 30 minutes prior to event time to secure kayak reservations and outing prep. Please arrive on-time or notify us in advance of any changes or concerns.Wear Shoes & Clothes you do not mind getting wet and dirty. Bring a towel and change of clothes in case you'll need it. Bringing a cooler, sun protection, and portable chair or picnic blanket not required but recommended. We will provide the necessary gear for those with reserved kayaks. We do not have fishing gear for small children but we do have lifevest for them.Lunch provided for registered attendees. Drinking water and snacks provided. If you have allergies or dietary restrictions we recommend bringing your own snacks and or lunch but if allowed sufficient notice we will do our best to accommodate.
