Phillip Boa and the Voodooclub ist eine deutsche Avantgarde-Pop bzw. Independent-Band, die stark von ihrem Kopf bzw. Songwriter, Sänger, Gitarristen und Produzenten Phillip Boa geprägt ist. Die Musik ist beeinflusst von Indie/Alternative Rock und Avantgarde. Der Stil von Boas Texten ist eine Mixtur aus absurden Träumereien, Liebesliedern und manchmal bizarren und verstörenden Inhalten, doch Boas größte Stärke ist vielleicht, dass er es immer schafft, poetische Schönheit zu finden, die alles unterstreicht, was er schreibt.
