Aqua paws take over Mermaid parade - Chihuahua Nation and Friends (all breeds and sizes are welcome)
Chihuahua Nation and Friends are making a splash at the mermaid parade! Pups and pawrents spreading tail wags and doggie paddles all around. If fish could talk, they would BARK!
The dogs are taking over the mermaid parade 2025! Dress up as anything mermaid and the sea related - you can be anything you want! Let your imagination run wild with our theme “Coney Island Pawquarium”. Make this easy and fun - and most importantly we keep ourselves and our pups safe and happy! Let’s get ready to some happy memories.
We have registered in the group “family marchers”, so we will march earlier. When you register to march , use the link below, Click Family marchers, then “I am part of a group”, then “family-friendly area”, then “Marching Group”. Marching Group name is “CONEY ISLAND PAWQUARIUM” GROUP-2025-31. Registration fee per person is $35. Dogs are and strollers/carts are free. You can register several persons at registration. Make sure you are able to offer shade and water for your dog (umbrella/parasol/stroller/fan/cooler products/etc, and if your pup is walking; use something to protect their paws with against the hot asphalt. There are porta-potties in waiting area and bathrooms in the amphi theater. Bring cooler/water/chair if you need. Use lots of SpF.
We will be meeting at 42 and 11, and walking to the Q train on 42 Times Square, but you are welcome to meet us along the way (we will let you know which train leaving 42 we will take, and of course you can meet us in Coney Island if you prefer. More details to follow.
