- **Event Description**: Step into the spotlight and join us for auditions for the hilarious musical comedy, The Drowsy Chaperone! This clever and high-energy show is packed with spectacular dance numbers, over-the-top characters, and nonstop laughs. It’s a delightful tribute to the golden age of Broadway with plenty of heart and humor.

Auditions will be held at the Avon Theatre on May 30th from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Come any time within that window and we'll get you in and out as efficiently as possible. Please prepare to sing 32 measures of any Broadway style song of your choice with accompaniment (karaoke track preferred but sheet music is also welcome). You will also be taught a dance from the show, so please dress with movement in mind.  Callbacks, if required, will be held by invitation only on May 31st at 2:00 p.m. and consist of readings from the script as well as songs from the show. Performances will take place at the Avon Theatre on August 6th, 7th, and 8th at 8:00pm, and August 9th at 2:00pm.
