WITH THE FANTASTIC AND eponymous SONG BY ONE OF THE DUTCH MOST FAMOUS TRANSGENDER: LOUISA JANSSEN, THE CANDIDATES WILL COMPETE WITH THIS THEME IN 2024!OUR VISION AND MISSION:? We give people who for one reason or another are unable to do this but are faced with problems, discrimination, violence or disadvantage, a voice and face by standing up for them and drawing attention to this. ? Every year we organize a regional Drag Contest where ANY FORM OF DRAG IS MORE THAN WELCOME: BIOQUEEN, DRAGKING, DRAGCREATURE or perhaps you are more of an OLD SCHOOL TRAVESTY or practice ANOTHER FORM of drag art.? Whether you are just starting out as a drag artist or have been working for years: EVERYONE IS EQUAL and deserves an internship plus the opportunity to show themselves & develop or as the theme of 2024/25 says: BORN TO BE ME. FOR US IT IS ABOUT TALENT, CREATIVITY AND COMMITMENT AND BEING YOURSELF. ? If your outfits are low-budget & self-made or if you can purchase one expensive costume after another, it makes no difference to us and deserves an equal chance. We don't just go for a nice/handsome appearance, but for the total package and picture! ? Our events and contests are each time held at a different location in (as our name suggests) North Brabant. We do this so that more candidates can have a chance to participate. In this way we hope to reach a larger and new audience and we can more easily join forces with local entrepreneurs, catering establishments and companies from the province and we can also provide an extra platform.We are at the moment and between our many other events and activities very busy with preparing for the 2024/25 edition and the first candidates, guest artists and jury members have already registered. We are going to approach it a little differently than last year, we are going for a slightly different setup, we are going for even bigger, more challenging assignments, a larger crew, we are opting for a top location and we are going for even more sponsors and that of course also includes an even larger prize package and we are also thinking of all the candidates... and we are even working on extra options and possibilities for the public so that people can really get away from it all.In the center of Breda you will find a former secret church for over 25 years that has been completely transformed into a beautiful all-round event location.... Expect an impressive facade, the allure of an old theater with today's facilities. For the next edition, this will be the location where our candidates will compete for the titles, With a real catwalk, special effects, fireworks and on the stage of the large theater hall. Be carried away by the creative talent of the candidates during a delicious dinner show. It will be an evening for young and old, straight & queer... everyone is welcome.For that reason we want to remain as accessible as possible and we will use different tickets, we have 3 types of tickets:??
