Join us for a powerful evening of reflection as we trace the journey from betrayal to burial. This is not just a retelling of an ancient story; it is an invitation to witness a different kind of power—the quiet, unyielding power of nonviolent love. Through the Gospel of Luke, we will walk with Jesus as he refuses to return violence for violence, choosing instead to heal, forgive, and love even in his final hours.

What to Expect:

A Service of Tenebrae: Meaning "darkness" in Latin, this service features the gradual extinguishing of candles, mirroring the darkness that fell over the world at the crucifixion.

Reflective Scripture & Music: We will move through the story of the Passion with readings from the Gospel of Luke and moving hymns like "What Wondrous Love Is This".

A Space for Peace: In a world often defined by force, come experience a "holy darkness" that makes room for dreams, clarity, and the "exhaling of the light".

Total Silence: The service concludes in utter darkness and silence, leaving space for the "nothing more to say" until Easter morning.

We are the big brick church near Brecksville Square.  Ample parking from the entrance on Route 21/Brecksville Road (across from the Starbucks/Hallmark Plaza).  Elevator at the ADA entrance on the ground floor.  The Sanctuary is on the second floor.  

For GPS directions, use 8870 Brecksville Road. Additional parking on Stadium Drive and the Square.
