- **Event Description**: Calling all bakers! Share your best recipes in our fourth annual good-old-fashioned pie baking contest - for all ages!

Put on your apron, prepare your favorite pie and bring it to Brecksville Home Days. We will have a group of “celebrity” judges to critique each entry based on taste, overall appearance, creativity, and texture. Bakers of the top scoring pies will receive a prize ribbon and cash prize. With enough entries, we will have prizes for both adult and youth categories.

After judging, any remaining slices of pie will be given away in exchange for donations to the Brecksville Human Services Center Food Pantry! 

Come be part of this fun afternoon and help feed our hungry neighbors!

CONTEST RULES
Pies must be submitted in a disposable container for judging.

Any kind of pie, except those that require refrigeration (for instance dairy, ice cream, or meat pies) may be entered.

Pies must be dropped off at the entry table for judging between 5:25 and 5:55 pm on Saturday, June 20.  Pies must be delivered in this time frame! The entry table will be located on the front lawn of Brecksville United Methodist Church (the big brick church on the square.)  

If it's raining, we'll be on the first floor in Fellowship Hall.

Pie judging will begin promptly at 6 pm.

Winners will be announced from the main stage at 7 pm.

An entry form must accompany each entry. If you register online, we will have your entry form already. If you prefer a paper form, download a copy at BUMCLinks.com or pick one up at Brecksville United Methodist Church, 65 Public Square, Brecksville Ohio.

Please provide a legible recipe with the entry.  

Failure to follow the rules may result in disqualification.
