Join qualified mountain leader Damien for a scenic guided forest hike through the Glen of the Downs and over Downs Hill, one of County Wicklow’s most tranquil woodland routes.
This easy-to-moderate loop walk follows peaceful forest tracks, quiet country lanes, and open hillside paths with sweeping views of Wicklow’s rolling countryside. Along the way, you’ll learn about the fascinating Bronze Age hillforts that once overlooked this landscape including Coolagad and Downshill, believed to have been home to ancient kings of Dublin and Leinster.
It’s a relaxed, social morning out in nature, perfect for beginners, casual walkers, and anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors in good company.
