~ Get ready for another fun-filled weekend of softball, laughs, friends, and hopefully sunshine!
~ This year’s tourney will benefit the Guilford Volunteer Fire Department.
~ 2 levels of awesome raffle items
~ There will be another Tommy cornhole set and another Tommy bat.
~ New Tommy jerseys, hats, tumblers, and much much more!!
~ Going late into the night on Saturday so we can do 4 GG. Every team will play 3 games on Saturday, and Sunday is a single-elimination bracket.
~ Saturday will be 1 pitch (plate and mat = strike). On Sunday hitters will start with a 2-1 count.
~ $300 entry fee. Winning team gets their entry fee back.
~ Hoping to get 10 teams this year. $50 deposit will secure your team’s spot in the tourney.
~ Trophies for first and second place
~ Homerun Derby will take place on Saturday throughout the day (on the LOWER field) giving everyone a chance to participate without disrupting games. Trophy and awesome prize goes to the winner.
~ There will also be a free kids’ Home Run Derby on the lower field with a trophy and prizes.
~ We’ll still have the fun food vouchers and other new surprises, too.
~ Delicious food and cold beverages will also be available for purchase all weekend long.
~ There will be a 50/50 raffle again.
~ If anyone wants to play, but does not have a team, we’ll be doing a few host teams. Feel free to send one of us a message.
~ Tournament rules and more info will be posted within the next 2 weeks.
~ If anyone would like to volunteer during the tourney, help with finding more donations, or donate on their own, please let us know.
~ This event will be bigger and better than last year, which was a really awesome weekend in memory of a really awesome guy! Hope to see you all there!!
