- **Event Description**: JJ Slater is a born and bred New Englander, and so naturally has a sound for every season. Songs evoke blankets of wintry whispering just as much as pulsing, hypnotic summer grooves, at times overlapping to create textures that seem stuck out of space and time.

His newest record, “The Silver Key”, was written in Northern New Mexico at the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation, and its music is the product of many drives through the Southern Rockies and by the Rio Grande. 

The record tells the story of an artist at a crossroads, confronting his self-isolation, and eventually finding love. It was produced in Northampton with Anni Casella, and features the funky rhythm section of Dan Bisson and Kevin Mason. 

Slater can be found touring solo, as a duo with his partner Lexi Weege, or with a full-tilt rock n’ roll band, lending his songs to Signature Dish and doing full album shows.

Alexis Pastuhov has been writing and performing original music for nearly 20 years. From Portland, ME to Denver, CO, to NYC, Pastuhov has shared his unique brand of indie-folk on stages large and small. Drawing on influences that range from Elliott Smith to Sam Cooke, Pastuhov has independently released 2 full length albums, 2 EPs, as well as a 2017 album release under the moniker Bad Galaxy. Currently residing in southern Vermont, Pastuhov's latest release titled 'New Mirror' is now available on all streaming platforms.
