This October, BEEC’s most beloved tradition returns: the Forest of Mystery! Come for the adventure and support our largest community celebration and fundraiser of the year!
"The Fractured Mind of Franklin Kind"
Traverse a torch-lit woodland trail and enter the whimsical and nervous mind of a young boy. But beware—once you enter his imagination, will you find your way out?
🌙 Thursday, Friday & Saturday, October 23–25
🎟 Journeys depart every 15 minutes
☕ Warm drinks & baked goods
⏰ Thurs: 6:15–7:45pm | Fri & Sat: 6:15–8:30pm
📍 BEEC – 1221 Bonnyvale Road, West Brattleboro, VT
Over the course of an hour, you’ll follow a half-mile trail of meadow and forest lit with flickering torches. Along the way, you’ll encounter a dozen theatrical scenes, interact with characters, and piece together a quest. At the summit of Heifer Hill, the mystery culminates with firelight, revelation, and discovery. 🔥
Each year, more than 500 people join us under the stars for this enchanting experience. The Forest of Mystery isn’t just magic—it’s BEEC’s biggest fundraiser, supporting BEEC’s nature-based school programs, youth camps, wildlife rehabilitation, and community events all year long.
