TICHÉ NOCI
Tiché noci sú dlhodobou koncertnou sériou, ktorá prepája nemý film z 20. a 30. rokov 20. storočia so živou, na mieru komponovanou hudbou súčasných experimentálnych hudobníkov. Projekt prináša do Bratislavy jedinečné audiovizuálne podujatia, v ktorých sa kultové diela ranej kinematografie stávajú živým médiom schopným rezonovať s dnešným divákom.

Cieľom projektu je priblížiť historickú kinematografiu súčasnému publiku prostredníctvom originálneho formátu, ktorý presahuje tradičné filmové premietanie.

The next edition of our Silent Nights series brings another magical combination of silent film and live music.
This time, an intense DJ set by Prezident Lourajder will bring new life to Dziga Vertov’s avant-garde experiment Man with a Movie Camera.

This legendary film poem takes us on a visually stunning ride through Soviet cities of the 1920s.
With the camera over its shoulder, we follow everyday life in Moscow, Kharkiv, Odesa and Kyiv — from bustling streets to factory floors. Without dialogue or actors, Vertov celebrates the modern city and its vibrant, pulsing rhythm.

SILENT NIGHTS

Silent Nights is a long-running concert series that connects silent films from the 1920s and 1930s with live, specially composed music by contemporary experimental musicians. The project brings unique audiovisual events to Bratislava, where iconic works of early cinema become a living medium capable of resonating with today’s audiences.

The aim of the project is to introduce historical cinema to contemporary viewers through an original format that goes beyond the traditional film screening experience.
