35 rokov modernej nezávislosti Ukrajiny je pokračovaním tisícročnej histórie boja za európske hodnoty, sebaurčenie a demokraciu. Naša sloboda bola vždy vykupovaná odhodlaním tých, ktorí sa nezlomili.

35 rokov štátnosti. Storočia nepoddajnosti.
Cesta k dnešnej nezávislej Ukrajine je utkaná z nepretržitého zápasu mnohých generácií. Za týmto stolom mali sedieť osobnosti, ktoré formovali našu identitu – od bojovníkov minulých storočí až po moderných hrdinov, ktorí padli vo vojne proti ruskej agresii. Každý z nich – bez ohľadu na profesiu – položil svoj život za právo Ukrajiny existovať. Dnes vzdávame hold ich obetiam a uchovávame ich pamäť.

Postavte sa za slobodu. Podporte Ukrajinu.
Boj za spravodlivý mier pokračuje. Podporte Ukrajincov v ich zápase o prežitie – pomáhajte odídencom vo vašom okolí, podporujte obrancov v prvej línii a stojte pri Ukrajine. Sloboda potrebuje vašu solidaritu.

We invite you to the visual memorial performance "Thank You for Independence," taking place on August 24 right in the heart of Bratislava at Hlavné Námestie.

The price of European freedom is being written in Ukraine.

The 35 years of Ukraine's modern independence are a continuation of a thousand-year history of fighting for European values, self-determination, and democracy. Our freedom has always been bought by the resolve of those who refused to break.

35 years of statehood. Centuries of unyielding resolve.

The path to today's independent Ukraine is woven from the continuous struggle of many generations. Seated at this table should have been the individuals who shaped our identity — from the freedom fighters of past centuries to the modern heroes who fell in the war against Russian aggression. Each of them — regardless of their profession — gave their life for Ukraine's right to exist. Today, we pay tribute to their sacrifice and honor their memory.

Stand for freedom. Support Ukraine.

The fight for a just peace continues. Support Ukrainians in their struggle for survival — help displaced people in your community, support the defenders on the front line, and stand with Ukraine. Freedom needs your solidarity.
