Empty Bowls

Join us for our annual Empty Bowls event here at John C. Campbell Folk School. We are excited to continue this tradition and raise awareness about hunger in our communities. All profits from the event will benefit food banks that serve Clay and Cherokee counties: the Sharing Center in Murphy, Matt's Ministry, Cherokee County Food Bank, and Clay County Food Pantry.

The 2026 event is scheduled for Saturday, March 28th, in the Folk School Dining Hall. The event will begin at 5 p.m. with bowl preview and selection and will end at 6:30 p.m. when Brown Bag Raffle winners are announced.
