Now living in Nashville, Tennessee, Sequoia is part of a new generation of artists breathing life into bluegrass with authenticity and creativity. Whether on stage or in the studio, their performances are marked by sincerity, soul, and a clear reverence for the genre’s roots.

Sequoia Rose’s music speaks to life’s quieter truths—the beauty in everyday moments, the pull of the natural world, and the stories that tie us all together. With every song, they invite listeners into a space where tradition and originality live side by side.

The Folk School features some of the finest regional and national acts performing eclectic roots music. We’ll have standard seating available, first come first serve. A donation of $5-15 per adult is suggested, but all are welcome regardless of contribution. Folk School Students and Staff are not asked to donate.
