Gabrielle Roth, dansatoare americană, regizoare de teatru, producătoare muzicală și mentor spiritual, a început să își dezvolte metoda bazată pe mișcare liberă, 5Rhythms, în anii ‘70. Cartea care sumarizează fundalul său teoretic, numită Maps to Ecstasy (Hărți către Extaz), a fost publicată în 1989. De atunci, experiențele practice cu această metodă au început să se acumuleze și să se multiplice. Astăzi, sute de instructori predau în mod regulat 5Ritmuri, ceea ce este întotdeauna un proces interactiv. Profesorul învață și se îmbogățește de asemenea, nu doar participanții.
M-am întâlnit cu acest dans în 2008. După ce am finalizat școala de instructori a Gabriellei Roth am început să predau și o fac constant din 2011. În această perioadă de timp am învățat mult mai mult decât m-a învățat programul de instructaj. Am sute de ore de predare sub centură și toate au constituit experiențe de învățare pentru mine de asemenea.
În acest atelier vom extrage resurse din aceste bogate experiențe pentru a demonstra ce face practica 5Ritmuri să fie atât de minunată, eliberatoare și susținătoare. Această practică mi-a transformat viața în mod profund și nu doar pentru că am devenit instructor. Chiar dacă nu aș fi devenit instructor viața oricum mi s-ar fi schimbat radical față de cum era înainte. Relațiile mele cu oamenii s-au schimbat, calitățile mele fizice s-au schimbat și de asemenea așteptările mele față de viață. Am devenit mai echilibrat și satisfăcut în fiecare aspect. Mi-aș dori să pot da mai departe altora câteva din multele beneficii pe care 5Rhythms le-a adus pentru mine.
Cele 5Ritmuri este o metodă simplă și practică de a intra în contact cu corpurile noastre. Prin urmărirea hărții 5Rhythms devenim mai confortabili cu propriile noastre mișcări, iar conexiunea între inima, mintea și corpul nostru devine mai completă. Ne găsim propriul nostru ritm, propriul nostru puls, mai exact, ne intrăm în curgere. Din această curgere putem atinge stări de extaz iar și iar, după care să ne întoarcem la curgere.

Gabrielle Roth, American dancer, theater director, music producer, and spiritual teacher, began developing her method based on free movement, the 5Rhythms, in the 1970s. Her book summarizing the theoretical background, entitled Maps to Ecstasy, was published in 1989. Since then, practical experience has continued to accumulate and multiply. Today, hundreds of teachers regularly teach 5Rhythms, which is always an interactive process. The teacher also learns and becomes richer, not just the participants.
I encountered this dance in 2008. After completing Gabrielle Roth's teacher training I started teaching and I have been doing it since 2011. During this time, I have learned much more than even the teacher training program taught me. I have thousands of hours of teaching under my belt, all of which have been learning experiences for me as well.
In this workshop, we will draw from this rich repository to show what makes the 5Rhythms wonderful, liberating, and supportive. This practice has thoroughly transformed my life, and not primarily because I became a teacher. Even if I hadn't become a teacher, I would still be living a completely different life than before. My relationships with people have changed, the quality of my physical being has changed, and my expectations of life have changed. I have become more balanced and satisfied in every aspect. I would like to be able to pass on to others some of the many benefits that 5Rhythms has brought me.
The 5Rhythms is a simple and practical way to get in touch with our bodies. By following the map of the 5Rhythms, we become more comfortable with our own movements, and the connection between our heart, mind, and body becomes more complete. We find our own rhythm, our own pulse, that is, we get into our flow. From this flow, we can reach states of ecstasy again and again, and then return to the flow.

Péter has degrees in pedagogy, philosophy and economics and has worked as a high school teacher, business consultant and trainer. He received his 5Rhthms® teacher diploma in 2011, training with Gabrielle Roth. Since then he has been teaching classes and workshops in Hungary, Austria, Serbia and Romania.
