Project SG Racing Team vs Downforce Battles Double Header @ Lanier Raceplex

Project SG racing team is taking on the final downforce battle events at Lanier Raceway across from Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta with two back to back downforce battles events on Saturday 11/8/25 from 4-10PM and on Sunday 11/9/25 from 1-6PM.

Downforce battles is a mirrored autocross course that pits two drivers against each other on reflected courses. Each driver hard launches off the start at the drop of the green flag with a drag race off the line, and immediately enters the course with about 30-45 seconds of technical corners and braking zones ahead. The first car across the line according to the judge's eye takes the win for the round. The cars with the most wins compete in a single elimination bracket shootout that determines the winner for the night. Strategy for engine temperature, brake temperature, tire grip, and lane choice all comes into play for each driver.
