If you've never attended a bioblitz, it's an opportunity for people to come together and catalogue all the biodiversity found in a certain area at one point in time. Maybe that sounds complicated, but with iNaturalist it's easy. You bring a camera, photograph all the species of plants, fungi, and animals you see, upload them to iNaturalist, and get help with ID from the professionals! Bioblitzes support real science and conservation work, by taking a snapshot of what species are found in a given area. Maybe you'll find a species at risk and contribute important information to this crowd-sourced science initiative.Contribute to conservation science! Meet up at 2:30pm at the Butterflyway Project Garden, in Brantford at the intersection of Scarfe Ave and Grand River Ave. It's a short walk from Laurier campus.(Please don't get lost. The house number provided is across the street from the garden. Come over to meet us at the park side.)
