About the event

Raritan Valley Beekeepers Beginner Beekeeping Class

Registration is now open for the 2026 RVBA Annual Beginner Beekeeping Class! Join us for two full days of class (Sat. April 11 and Sat, April 25) at the Somerset Co. Environmental Education Center and a hands-on field day at our club apiary date TBD. Our class fulfills the educational requirement for keeping bees in New Jersey.
Tuition is $150 and scholarships are available through NJBA for youth ages 14 and older as well as veterans. RVBA offers an Educators Scholarship for adults working with youth.
A discount is available for the second member of household!
