Along the way, take in breathtaking views and immerse yourself in the peaceful wilderness. Next, venture to the Bonnechere Caves in Eganville, one of Ontario’s only walkable cave systems. Explore these incredible limestone tunnels, shaped about 12,000 years ago, and marvel at ancient fossils embedded in the rock. As the evening sets in, settle into your hotel in Pembroke, a charming riverside town, and share stories over a hearty welcome dinner with your fellow adventurers.
Day two kicks off with an adrenaline-fueled whitewater rafting experience on the Ottawa River! Guided by expert rafters, you’ll conquer exhilarating rapids and feel the rush of the wild, all while surrounded by breathtaking river scenery. After an action-packed morning, relax and recharge with a scenic pontoon boat cruise lunch, where you can soak in the beauty of the Ottawa Valley one last time. With spirits high and memories to last a lifetime, we’ll begin our journey back to Toronto—already dreaming of the next great adventure.

📝 Notes:
- The hike at Bon Echo will be on the Shield Trail. This hike is approximately 4.2km long and with uneven terrain in some spots it is rated as a moderately challenging route. This loop hike will take you past the shores of three lakes including Bon Echo lake.
- Comfortable walking or hiking shoes are highly recommended.
- You are welcome to bring your own hiking poles to assist you on the hike.
- During the white water rafting, you will get wet. It is recommended that you wear clothing and shoes that you are comfortable and able to get wet in. There will be an opportunity to change into drier clothing after the rafting experience.
- Children 12+ are welcome on this tour, same price as adults.
