WaterBlitz – Help Monitor Our Rivers

Join Mersey Rivers Trust and take part in WaterBlitz, a citizen science survey that helps build a snapshot of water quality across our rivers and streams.

During WaterBlitz, volunteers collect simple water samples from local waterways and record their results. These results help identify pollution, track changes over time, and highlight where further investigation or action may be needed.

No prior experience is required – full guidance will be provided. By taking part, you’ll be contributing valuable data that supports river protection and strengthens the case for cleaner, healthier waterways.

Together, we can build a clearer picture of our rivers' health and help drive positive change.
