⛰ The Coledale 10 Peaks – Ten Summits. One Big Lake District Mountain Day ⛰
Join us for a full high-level mountain circuit across the North Western Fells, linking ten Wainwright summits in one continuous guided walk.
Starting and finishing in Braithwaite near Keswick, the Coledale 10 Peaks is a classic multi-summit route covering around 13 miles with approximately 1,700 metres of ascent. It’s a big, rewarding mountain day built around steady climbing, wide-open fell tops, and some of the quietest high ground in the Lake District.
You’ll link summits including Causey Pike, Crag Hill, Grasmoor, Hopegill Head, and Grisedale Pike — enjoying long high-level sections and far-reaching views throughout the day.
This guided walk is ideal for confident hillwalkers who enjoy longer days, multiple summits, and classic Lakeland terrain. Good fitness is essential, but the payoff is one of the most satisfying mountain circuits in the Lakes.
